- The MB-232 has a slightly larger barrel to give the batter more area to make contact.
- The slightly steeper taper from barrel to handle puts a little more of the bat's weight toward the barrel end.
- Balancing more of the weight toward the end of the bat allows it to carry the swing through the strike zone once the batter gets the swing started. This gives the bat a little more pop with the added inertia aimed at the sweet spot.
